The Blues Bus Returns

September 25, 2010 No Comments

Labor Day Weekend, Sunday, September 5th, a piece of history revisited the Maxwell Market, as the Maxwell Blues Bus set up at the Sunday Market once again.  The bus was long the gateway to Maxwell St., with Rev. L.V. Johnson selling classic blues casettes, 45s and later CDs from the big blue bus painted with the names of classic blues stars.

Chainsaw Dupont  & the Blues Warriors capped the summer live blues season by playing on the Market in front of the bus, while shooting a video, in front of an enthusiastic crowd.
